Budget Friendly Valentine’s Day Date Ideas

EconomicalValentine's Day

Every year Valentines Day is a day that couple spend spoiling each other. It’s a time when the world celebrates love. It is also a time when it can be very hard to stay on your budget. It is so easy to spend money on the people you love most in the world. Sometimes the little things, the thoughtful things can mean more than dinner at an expensive restaurant, or fancy chocolates. Here are some ideas that can help you celebrate the love of your life without draining your accounts.

Recreate Your First Date

While this might not be economical for some, others can relate to not having the most glamorous start. Recreating those first moments together can be very romantic. Watch the movie you first went to  curled up together, make the dish you first ate together.

Make Breakfast In Bed

Make your bacon into hearts, use a red velvet cake mix to make red velvet pancakes:

  • 1 boxed Red Velvet Cake mix
  • ½ cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2½ cups milk
  • ¼ cup oil
Mix well and fry as pancakes.
The possibilities are endless to dress it up.  After breakfast, just spend the day relaxing together.

Write A Poem

It might seem cheesy, buy something from the heart costs nothing but time, and shows exactly house much you love someone. It doesn’t have to be long, or rhyme, have some fun wit it!

Make a Slide Show Of Your Favorite Moments

All this on takes is time. Once it’s done, you will have it to look back on in the years to come.

Make Something New For Dinner

There are so many recipes available online. Try something new using your Valentine’s favorite flavors. You might even find a recipe worth trying again.

Instead Of Dinner, Just Go For Dessert

Most dessert portions are big enough for two, and don’t cost much. Make your Valentine’s Dinner at home, then step out for dessert and coffee. You can enjoy a sunset, or just indulge your sweet tooth together.

No matter what you do together, it’s about spending the time together. If you like these ideas, check out our In Home Date Ideas for more ways to celebrate without breaking the bank!
