Examining American Sleep Habits

Sleep is so important, and yet it is something that often is neglected and taken for granted. We all have our own little quirks when it comes to our sleep. I know someone who brings their shirt up higher and higher as they come closer to falling asleep. If it goes over her mouth, you know she is a goner!

A recent survey of sleep habits shows trends in people’s sleep habits. It’s actually pretty interesting to see. For example, 52% of people watch TV or a movie to unwind before bed, and I am included in that majority!  I can’t just “go to bed.” In fact, I’ll admit it. As much as I hate it, I am envious of my husband who can fall asleep anywhere at any time!! 22% unwind on a smartphone. Guilty here too!
