Keeping Busy this Labor Day

This weekend is Labor Day weekend. The farewell to summer, the last of the BBQ’s. It’s a time to close the cabins and visit the lake for one last getaway before the cold weather hits.

School is starting and vacations come to an end. It is a great time to spend with family making memories. Labor Day is one of my favorite long weekends. It is still warm enough to enjoy, and the evening gets just cool enough to feel kinda like fall. It’s perfect for bon fires and marshmallow roasting. This is a big family event for us. All the kids get involved, and it doesn’t take much money to make lasting memories with the kids. We only have so much time with our families before they grow and get busy with their own families.

No matter how you spend this holiday weekend, keeping safety in mind is important. Many injuries and accidents happen over Labor Day weekend. So many people on the road can lead to more traffic accidents. Alcohol can always play a factor.

So what ever your plans may be, keep safe this Labor Day, and go make some memories!
