Low Calorie Homemade Salad Dressings

Happy New Year! I hope you had a great holiday season. Now as we start off the new year, so many of us are going to work on loosing those holiday pounds, and eating healthy. Of course, the main dietary change is to make sure that you are eating more vegetables, right? I know so many people that have trouble eating salads unless they are coated with creamy, fatty, sugar loaded commercial salad dressings. Well, you can easily make your own dressings for a fraction of the cost, and a fraction of the calories!

Making a low calorie Ranch Dressing is easier than you think.

Low Calorie Ranch Dressing

Low Calorie Homemade Salad Dressings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup low fat greek yogurt
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (Or 2 tbsp dried parsley)
  • 2 tbsp dried dill
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a mason jar, or salad dressing container. Close and shake until well mixed. Let the dressing sit for at least 1 hour.
