Summer is a time for playing out side, barbecues, picnics, and with those activities often comes stains. Especially in a house full of boys like mine.
“Go play out side” often leads to grass stains, the troubles of my summer laundry existence. Barbecues lead to mustard stains, it is never-ending! Oh, and you can’t forget the mud. Mud and boys just go together I guess.
What is a mother to do? I know some mothers just let the play clothes get grubby, but not me. I do my best to get those stains out. I’m kind of obsessive that way. I guess that’s why other family members bring their tough stains to me! I can’t count the texts and phone calls I have had about getting out stains. Problem with ink? Hairspray! Problem with blood? Hydrogen Peroxide. When all else fails, leave in the sun. Sun shine works wonders at removing stains and odours.
I am also a huge believer in having good tools, like Resolve® Oxi Action i wash booster. It’s a great way to get those stains out the first time, and even works as a super pre-treater for those tough stains. The Oxi Action Crystal White is a great bleach alternative, which will help you not damage your clothes with the harmful effects of bleach!
Until now, I used trial and error to figure out what works best. I have been doing this so long it’s all in my head. Not everyone has the stain fighting experience I do though. Some one needed to make a data base of stain fighting tips for people to visit!
Thankfully, Resolve® has a new website, Tip Exchange. It’s a place where you can check out the tips others have posted and post any of your own! Every stain you can think of is there, and there are different tips so you can beat that stain with what you have on hand!
Oh, but wait, it gets better! Share your tips and you could win one of 12 weekly prizes of $250 and the grand prize of $5000! Now that is a great incentive to share!
Visit the Resolve Tip Exchange and see for your self, and you might be a winner.
