Time for some Windows

This post brought to you by Royal Building Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love looking at ways to improve my home. Right now we are looking at options to fix an addition on our second floor. It is a small room that was not insulated well. We want to make it into a bedroom, but there is a lot to do. Dry wall, insulation, and new windows are the biggest. The windows is the biggest deal for me. This room faces North, and here in the frigid winters, a northern facing window can be pretty drafty. So I know I need something of quality. That means doing some homework.

Thankfully, I have checked out Royal Building Products and discovered the benefits of vinyl windows. I didn’t even know that vinyl windows existed until now.

In comparing vinyl to aluminum and wood, I am amazed at the differences!

The biggest factor for us of course is the comfort. I need something that will keep out the northern winds and will last. Vinyl can stand up for years even in harsh weather conditions. This includes lasting through pollution, salt spray and dirt. Vinyl also offers excellent thermal performance. This means no drafts, and no freezing us in the room. Vinyl actually saves you money on your energy bills. Check one more for vinyl!

Vinyl is very low maintenance, just wash it periodically and it looks new again. Wood can rot, and needs painting. Aluminum can pit and flake. I do not want something that will require me to work to keep looking nice.

With easy operation, I think I cam pretty much sold. Not only will the vinyl lower your energy bills (bonus) but it also adds value to the home. Visit Royal Building Products and check out their selection of vinyl windows. You won’t be disappointed.

When we moved into our home twenty-five years ago we had to close up some of our windows because we had oil at the time and the windows make it expensive.

  3. I’ve never heard of vinyl windows. We are looking to change out 3 windows and I will be checking them out.
